There are many reasons for both alowing and forbidding the use of drugs as a medical substance. Waing all the diffrent reasons against each other I still belive that it should be possible for someone to figth pain with help of legalised drugs if normal painkillers don't help.
What may worry a lot of people is that drugs can be addictive. The chance for that happening is just as big as getting addicted to normal painkillers that you use every day. All kind of pills can be addictive if they are not used with great caution. It dos not matter if its marijuana or morphine, it dosen't matter that one is legalised and one isn't, they are still alike. So way should it not be possible to legalize drugs for medical purposes?
If drugs would be allowed for medical purposes it would make it possible for the doctor to oversee his patient use of the substance. If it would not be legalized the doctor would not be able to oversee his patient use of the substance, and he would not be able to guarantee his patient health. By legalising drugs both doctors and patient's would be able to know that the drugs they are taking for their pain has not been contaminated by a foregin substance.
A final question to answer when determing if drugs should be legalized is, if ordinary painkillers dosen't help why should it not be a possibility to use drugs. If the pain is so terrible that it feels like your going to die, that you can't live with it, why should you not be able to use drugs?
If they help you live a normal life and you don't get addicted, then you should have the possibility to choose if you want to take them or not. It should although be under a doctors supervision so that nothing goes wrong.
The only one who can determine what's the rigth thing to do, is the one who is in great pain. Someone who is without pain can not make this decision, because that person dos not know what it mean to live a life filled with pain day out and day in.
